Dozens of progressives from throughout the region have already signed up for this two day campaign training event on June 23-24. DFA Chair Jim Dean will be joining us to celebrate our successes so far and plan for more to come.
By training a new generation of activists we will build the grassroots movement, help elect more progressives to Congress and take back the White House in 2008.
At the DFA Training Academy, experienced campaign professionals will cover practical strategies and tactics including communications, fundraising, voter targeting, online organizing, and building a sustainable grassroots movement. We design the program so you can go out and use the skills you learn right away. Then, we follow up with you to make sure you have the support you need to organize your community.
But our available seats are going fast. Don't miss out on this opportunity to learn the skills to win!
Other workshops may be available in the area, and sponsorship contributions are welcomed: https://contribute.democracyforamerica.com/sponsorshipFrom the organizers:"Every activist you help fund has the potential to manage a winning State Senate, City Council or U.S. Congressional campaign. Better yet, they could even decide to run for office. Sponsoring the DFA Training Academy will help create a new generation of progressive activists."
