Washington, DC: National anti-war rally and march, with local transport

The protest demands the "immediate and unconditional withdrawal of all U.S. and NATO forces from Afghanistan and Iraq."
The rally begins at the White House, followed by a march through downtown, stopping at various targeted locations. The procession will stop in front of selected corporate and government buildings connected to the wars. Flag-draped mock coffins will be deposited at the front entrances of each building, as speakers explain over loudspeakers why the action is taking place.
A day of action and outreach in Washington, D.C., will also take place on the preceding day, Friday, March 19.
There will be coinciding mass marches on March 20 in San Francisco and Los Angeles.
Albany area transportation:
A bus will be leaving from the East Garage in Albany at 1:00am on March 20 and will return to Albany after the demonstration at around 1:00am (early morning March 21).
Cost: Seats are $60 each. There will be partial scholarships available. Donations also accepted.
Reservations: Bus seats should be reserved as soon as possible, and at least by March 10. Checks made out to "BNP" and sent with the name(s) of bus riders, and a phone number and email address to BNP, PO Box 473, Delmar, NY 12054.

Mid Hudson Valley transportation:
Buses have been charted to take protesters from the Hudson Valley to DC and back. Buses leave from Kingston, New Paltz, Poughkeepsie, and probably Spring Valley, in the early hours and return at night the same day. Other pickup downstate locations will be considered if groups of a dozen or more people commit to boarding at a particular location convenient to the buses.
Cost: Roundtrip tickets are $60 per person. Some discounts are possible for students and low-income people.

Activists are also asked to consider making a contribution to the scholarship fund, which will enable tjhe group to offer low income discounts.
