The Alliance for Democracy was founded in 1995 to "free people from the corporate domination of politics......" The Albany chapter of the group has been on hiatus since 2008, and is now intent on renewing its mandate on the heels of the recent Supreme Court decision allowing corporations unlimited campaign funding.
